Terran ships ignore Neutral freighters that carry illegal cargo

Why do they get a pass? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif

because..... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

They have it in a shielded cargo bay that hide the illegalness.

They have a special licence to carry illegal cargo.

The components were originally "Universal Inoculant" that got changed to "Bio-Strength Enhancer" by the energy that damaged the freighter.

Hmmm, interesting...

http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif Taz only has TWO questions: http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif

1)Where do you buy one of those 'Shielded' cargo bays?

and 2)Who do you see about that 'Special' license?

BTW, Taz isn't gullable enough to believe in that third reason!! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

Hmmm, aren't LRS standard on all Terran ships? Because shielded cargo bays do not work against LRS.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Don't you know your physics? An Anti-Proton converts Helium into Hydrogen, which increases the energy level of the compound. This makes the innoculant become a strength enhancer. Any first year Abbidon bio-chem knows that. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

(We won't talk about what happens when you combine an anti-proton with a proton, and just where all that energy goes to, and what happens to the innoculant chemical with all that free energy flying around...)

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Two and a half years following the Sithrak Incident, a joint Terran-Abbidonian investigative team was commissioned. In an effort to improve the performance and capabilities of their allied forces, this team was given the task of analyzing the history, behaviour and any other possibly relevent aspects of the single individual responsible for the saving of the quadrant and approximately 23,112,320 non-terrestrial casualties (1).

Two weeks into the investigation they discovered the pilot's ship, a modified Fazrah Cruiser III, abandoned in orbit around one of Jujulak's suns.

Three hours later, the Terran-Abbidian coalition was forced to commission a new task force, when Fred Gates XXVII, the teenaged MSCE graduate who was the team's technical consultant, failed to fully understand the modifications made to the expanded Anti-Proton Beams mounted on the ships heavy mounts and inadvertently discovered a cheap method of FTL propulsion which became the mainstay of the Coalition's expansion efforts.

(1) Figure does not include the final death toll of 157,600 on Yorkshire III when the Ses'thene impacted on the planet's surface. Subsequent investigations have attributed this now-acceptable disaster to the individual under current investigation, as he had eliminated 99% of the Ses'thene's crew with Toxic Injectors six hours previously. See document 667, article 5 for further details and links to archived news footage.
