Known fix for graphics problems?
 

Someone mentioned earlier that he had problems during certiain parts of the game: When adding weapons etc to his ship, when he leaves the spacedoc / planet he's at and goes back to flying around, the graphics for the radar and damage readouts are messed up and unreadable. Saving and reloading the game clears the problem.

I have this problem too. I have the latest drivers and patches, including 1.08 of SF. This is on an unmodded game.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Try setting your video to safe mode in the Starfury setup menu. That did it for me.

I have video problems also, although not play stopping, but I found that setting the video to 'safe' made things much worse. I am running a Powercolor 9800 Pro with the latest drivers, so I think the video problems maybe much more fundamental than just drivers - something to do with the games graphics engine.
