Campaign 1; Eukrates system? (1.08)
 

Thanks to one lone and abandoned pirate fighter, I failed the "protect the Zealot starbase" mission and I was given a new mission, to wipe out all pirates from the Eukrates system. Sounds easy enough....until I looked at my star map....it doesn't exist!

Anyone know where it is or if this is a bug?

Not all of the galaxy is visible on the map from the beginning of the game; there are some parts you have to explore. Still, if it's a campaign mission and not a randomly generated mission, the least the general could do is tell you where the system's located http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif So if it is, go ahead and report it at starfury@malfador.com

I didn't have any trouble with that one when I went through it...
I recall doing some exploration in the area first.

In any case, go to the north side of Resshrak, and you'll see the warppoint to swoltran.

Just looked through the datafiles... the dialog dosen't appear to mention exactly where the system is... I must have just remembered seeing it as I went by on my way to the starbase.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">got it...thanks....but I did notice one issue....all the systems I had on my map due to me exploring were lost when the 2nd campaign started..argh....

and ONE MORE thing....if there are stellar cartography centers, why can't one buy the maps?
