Instant Messenger kills Star Fury
 

I did not see this any place I hope this is not a repeat. I use MSN messenger quite a bit because I am co-owners of a website. WHenever I try to chat, the game will allow me to chat, but when I return the graphics are all garbled. I tried using safe mode but no good.

I have a 2.53 Gig P4 with a Ge-FORCE 4200 I think is the name with all updates. Thanks.

Weeelll... Happens with AIM/Y!M/ICQ as well. I fixed it by going windowed mode. 1280x1024 in a 800x600 windowed SF will fix it. It doesn't change screen rez in switches and you dont have to alt-tab because you can easily move mouse off at the edges. heeh. =^_^=

well, I had a similar problem with old games before I believe, and one day it was just gone http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif , but until then I just changed the screen resolution after leaving the game (when the screen was scrambled) and then back to the original resolution. That always fixed it.
