Campaign 3 (spoiler)
 

I'm in campaign 3 and got a mission to scan the sithrak portal. After I scanned it, I destroyed it. Several missions later, Commander Bensen has asked me to destroy the Sithrak portal. However because the portal is no longer there I can not destroy it and am now stuck wandering the Perdition system hopelessly.

Anyone know a way around this, short of going back 5 saved games and several hours? Is there an event I can trigger to make the game think I just destroyed the Sithrak portal?

yes, there is. Event Commander Bensen 7 Finish C should do the trick, so you type in-game:

`triggerevent Event Commander Bensen 7 Finish C`

just like that. Then go to where it told you to go after you killed the portal in your briefing.

Is that the Last mission of the campaign, and therefore ending the game when the portal is destroyed?

The portal is destroyed, you get a medal, end of the campaign, therefore end of the game... unless I am missing something...there is not a fourth campaign on the game!?

The portal is not the Last mission. Killing the dreadnought is.
