Texturizing help

I made a fighter for SF and I think it is rather good but I can't texturize it. So if anyone would want to create texturemap for it I would be grateful.
Here's what the model looks. I couldn't color the cockpitwindow for different color.

If anyone is interested about this model you can get it from the url below:

The window doesn't look good in the front and I tried editing the vertixes but there's just too many of them and too close at each other. Nevertheless this is the best model I've done so far. Opinions, please.

Re: Texturizing help

Looks good, but you have a problem. Its over 3000 polygons. For reference, the Abbidon Battleship is..270. An Amonkrie destroyer is 360, a Amonkrie starbase is 1632, and the terran starbase 962.

In short, your fighter is going to take twice as much time to render as the most complicated base in the game. Not a good thing.

Re: Texturizing help

I see your point. The problematic window took incredible amount of polygons. Well, I just have to load earlier Version of the fighter and modify it. Thanks!
