Whats best defense against sithrak weapons that penetrate shields ?

edit: oh, yeah, this isn't SE4 - there's also a type of armor, forget which it is, which gives you a resist shield piercing ability... and emissive armor reduces the damage of all attacks...

The best bet is to engage the sithrak head on, one on one, full bore, point blank. If you can't get the proper components to fight them, raid as many allied and enemy ships you can find for parts.

If you engage multiple Sithrak ships, do so at max range and keep a good supply of point defense on hand.

Typically they can dish out a large amount of damage in Groups depending on how your ship stands against them.

A Xaiti Battleship Mark III that's fully loaded is more than enough to stop them.

Sihtrak Destroyers are all pretty easy to destroy. If you have battleship or equivalent and have over 3000 in shields you can just ram the cruisers and then go repair for a nearby planet.

I found it useful to buy Toxic injectors from Amonkrie and use them against Sithrak ships. It destroys one destroyer with one hit. The most annyoying thing I ever did was destroying the Sithrak starbase.
