And another thing...
I read (I think on Sunray_be's website (which is awesome by the way - very helpful)) that commanders with 2 weapons don't get a penalty when using their original 2 weapons, but *do* get a penalty when using 2 other weapons. I understand that you don't want some guy wielding 2 halberds, but this is pretty annoying - that your melee commander has a penalty when using 2 nice magical weapons, but doesn't when using the non-magical Versions of the same weapons. I think it would be ok to require him to use 2 of the same kind of weapon - like 2 broadswords, but how it is now is a seemingly pointless annoyance.
So is this the same in Dom II? And if so, can it please be changed some time, unless there's a good reason for it which I missed? (if so please enlighten me). [ October 16, 2003, 05:01: Message edited by: st.patrik ] |
Re: And another thing...
It is already changed. Att reduction is based on weapon length. Some units are ambidextrous (especially the nataraja) and do not suffer as badly from wielding more than one weapon.
The reduction applies to both the original weapons and new ones. Thus it might be better to equip assassins with multiple forged weapons than an ordinary commander. |
