Naval and better siege simulations for DOM2

If you're under the water in DOM2, why not on it?

Naval

Even a cursory naval presence would extend the strategic depth of play, although realms should be graded for naval capability preferably

Strange to see players such as Vanheim and Jotunheim - based on Norse or Viking lore - without naval capability.

This will also make placement of fortresses interesting - lots of sieges in real-life history with naval component.

SIEGES: Why not siege engines and other siege equipment?

Old questions, but:

Naval Battles:
I can't remember what the devs said about this.

Sieges:
Devs thougth that siege engines would add very litle to ordinary battles and siege engines would just be abstracted during sieges.

Let him ask the questions, old or not, he is new here. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/blush.gif

Anyways the devs didnt liked the idea of ships, since there are many ways to enter water already. It is kinda pointless. I can live without ships as well. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Siege engines would't add too much to the game, so...
