I need Heelp Pleaze http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif ; Doms2 fram rate is way slow ,i used preferences in game,i used tweaks on voodoo open gl. but little / no resolve.Problem; when i click on ANY TABS like recruit ECT it takes 10-15 secounds to enable,tho mouse controll & icon works fine, as well as music.I have AMD K6-2 300mhz 64ram voodoo3 2000. Using windows 98 first edition,THANKS.Q; will there be a demo patch?.

I think the problem is in that Voodoo 3 card since its sooooooo out dated. It's probably best idea to get some cheap newer graphic card because the company that made Voodoo cards is long dead so you cant expect any real support.

Good idea, but if short on cash try setting your desktop color number to 65000 (16-bit) and start dominions with this switch --res 640 400

If you are lucky your video card might be able to accelerate the lower resolution screen. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

Cheapest ATI or NVidia graphics card you can find. Considering the fact that your entire PC is out of date, new and expensive graphic cards would be a waste of money if they would work at all.

If you feel like looking for a cheap 3d card Online I must advise www.newegg.com
You could probably get a cheap geforce2 mx there for about $35 + s&h. And they're really good about service. A few hours after I ordered my 3d card they had it shipping to me.
Just go under search by Category/video card and set a low max price to search for.
