MASTER LIST poll

So there have been a lot of suggestions for changes to be made in Dom II. These (so far) have been collected in this thread. Since there's no way IW can do all of these (at least not within this year) this poll is a chance for you to communicate what you think is most important for IW to spend their (scarce) time on.

Note: It will be important for completing this poll that you have read over the 'MASTER LIST' thread and have understood the suggestions. Please ask about anything you don't understand, so that you can make informed answers in the following poll.

Re: MASTER LIST poll

One additional thing: please continue to suggest things on the 'MASTER LIST' thread if they come up - it is still helpful to have all requests in the same place, if nothing else so that the devs have only one place to look rather than searching the entire forum. Thanks.

Nice poll. I suspect that section 2 will get a lot of 100%'s, though=)

The Poll is screwed.

Question 2 of 5: Which of these tweaks would you like to see implemented? [no limit]
Choose up to 21 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sammual - I voted for 20 of the 21

The reason why I made Q. 2 answer as many as you want is because most of these are (I suspect) very easy things to change. That being so, the major factors determining if they get changed will be a. how big a priority it is to do tweaks (over other things) - this is what Q. 1 is all about - and b. which of these things people want tweaked - which is what Q. 2 is about.

I think bug fixes should have been a separate Category.

Obviously some bugs are also balance problems (the Crystal Heart bug, Abysian 2-H weapons with shields), but most balance problems aren't bugs.

Also, the poll doesn't include the recent suggestions on new ways of handling light troops. (Yes, I want it to be bigger!)

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">You're probably right about bug fixes - I just wasn't sure where else to put them. I guess I put them in balance considerations because an imbalance is a little bit like a bug.

Also, about the light troops stuff - I really wasn't following that discussion. I wish someone had posted some of those on the MASTER LIST thread before I made the poll.

BTW even now it might be good to post them there, just to have all suggestions in the same place. If there were a flood of new suggestions it might be appropriate to make a second poll, combining the results of the first with the new stuff.

I think it's a great idea to make all 21 choices available for voting. This way you can get the actual preference across the population, without artificially restricting the votes. If you don't vote for something, that means that you really don't care, and not that it's just a bit less important than the choice answer. Hence, it provides a very clear picture of priorities.
