Range check error - again
 
What's this range check error when generating game? It's not happening always, only maybe 25% of cases.

I use Tampa's Mod Pack 1.01

Please send Tampa and me a savegame with the error and describe at which time/action the error occurs. Our EMails should be in the readme.txt of the MOD. Thanks!

I also used to get the RC errors at start up. Unforn'tly, since it's at start up there is nothing to save so no save game file can be generated.

My experience was when generating a new game letting the comp'tr generate a random number of AI empires (active and neutral), the RC error would tend to pop up after the map was generated but during the player placement.

I had been using a modified components.txt data file, so I switched back to the orig and no problem. Can't remember if I switched back to the modded components file or not.
- normally I manually add all the existing empires and set em to comp'tr controll and don't use the comp'tr generating option so I didn't get the error that often.
Just some info.

I have run into it several times. usually doing something changing something in a race file...which would differ from the .emp.... though the Last one was Last night during player setup...

got to many mods to trace it though http://www.shrapnelgames.com/ubb/ima...ons/icon12.gif
