Enter Water tiles (demo)
Hi everyone!
we were just wondering how land gods can enter water tiles. - There are only land units to build and these attacks from sea are really disturbing. Only way we saw was to equip leaders with magic rings etc. but how do we get some underwater units? We are currently playing with ulm and machani (?) Thank you in advance! //acenoid |

Look for units with the amphibian symbol on them ( a symbol of the fish) and allocate them to a leader with under water breathing abilities. there is also a magic item pills of underwater breathing which lets you take 10 men underwater.
some gods like the wyrm i beleive can move freely underwater.. I hope this helps. |

Any unit with even 1 point in water magic can breath underwater. Any extra point in water magic allows it to take 1 unit with them. That might now sound like much but if you choose well (giants, elephants) it can be helpful.
Also undead can usually enter the water. Once you get ahold of one water province you can build tritons or whatever to take the rest. Me? I usually make one of those shambler skin armors and then wait for an amphibian set of mercenarys to show up. |

Thanks for the replies! We have just reached the turnlimit after playing for hours and will order the game as soon as it is available in the local stores :)
Btw - Imho the game is very difficult even on easy difficulty, iam always attacked by at least two enemies at the same time and sooner or later they break through... :) bye //acenoid |

I was getting hammered by AI nations too, Acenoid. I found that if I didn't attack AI player nations, there was a good chance they wouldn't attack me (at least until the indie provinces were gone). I also invest a little in province defenses, which may be enough to make them target softer provinces for awhile. Hth.
