Forgable: 999 Damage Crossbow, Is this a bug?

It only costs 5 astral gems. ..

Ohh I just looked in the manual. It's half a bug and half not.

In the game it says 999 damage and does not mention anything about "magic resistance negates". In the manual it says Damage: Death and "Magic Resistance Negates". But which one is right?

The item is "Very Powerful", takes 1 level of astral.

Damage:Death and MR save.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">In Dom 1, it's negated by magic resistance. Have anybody checked whether it's changed?

It's a common counter to Super-Combatants. If it's negated by resistance, it'll take forever to overcome the usually high MR of most SCs.
