map editor: removing a \'neighbour\' path?

well the only way to remove a path between two provinces
I have found (without changing others)
is to click the button 'local guess'

is there any other way to remove a path ?
because the 'local guess' tend to crash to desktop on certain provinces http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

If its only a couple of minor fixes I find it easier to edit the .map file in notepad. Jump to the #neighbor line that has the 2 province numbers and delete it. The MapEditor seems to have concentrated on doing big things to the whole map. Small things are easiest in an editor

Remove a border in the map editor by holding down shift or maybe ctrl and click.
