question about unholy priests....
 

how do you make unholy priests to use Pangaea's special Dominion carion woods? C'tis and Ulm also has a special Dominion that need unholy priests buy i dont know how to make them.

Any priest Ash Ermor recruits is unholy - its unholy level is one less than its listed holy level. So, recruiting the normal 2-holy independant priest gets you a 0-holy, 1-unholy priest.

Personally, I think Desert Tombs Ctis should be the same, but it isn't - holy units stay holy.

Ulm doesn't need unholy priests.

Both Ctis and Ermor can summon unholy priests - you need a with death magic, and there are various unholy priests you can summon, of increasing power for increasing gem cost - the most powerful requires death-4 or death-5.

I don't know about Pangea.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">You have to summon them. Use the "Cast Ritual Spell" order. For Ermor (not Ulm!) undead themes you should have a god with at least 3 in death magic; for C'tis Desert Tombs you can hire a Sauromancer to do your summoning for you. I'm not sure about Carrion Woods - a nature/death skilled god might be necessary to use their special summons, or might not.

In any of those cases you will also need some magic gems. Your home province has a magic site that will produce some for you; you may need to wait a while before you get enough to cast the spells. You can view your current amount of magic gems by pressing F7 from the main screen.

For Carrion Woods, a Pan Apostate begins with 2 Death, 3 Nature and can summon all of the racial specific undead. (Carrion Lord, Lady, Centaur)

And for anybody else, once you get to Conj. 7 you can use death magic to summon Mound Fiends, which are death-3 / unholy-3 ethereal undead mage-priests.
The most extreme unholy priest would probably be a Wraith Consul 'tho (an immortal armored ethereal unholy-4 priest; only available to Soul Gate Ermor via death-5 mages (!) and 35 gems). That's significantly harder to get than the non-immortal low-prot Archbishops of Ashen Empire Ermor.

In any case, the unholy priests you get this way are pretty weak. It's better to summon Acolytes, Bishops and Archbishops (or whatever the SG equivalents are - Wraith Senator and Wraith Consul?).
<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">One of the things that makes Desert Tombs (possibly) worth the staggering 200 point cost is that they get both normal and unholy priests. Both have their uses. If DT couldn't get holy priests it would be far weaker.
<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Others have reported that CW also summons its unholy priests, and (like Desert Tombs) one of their living mages (in this case Pan Apostate) has all the skills necessary to summon any national unholy priest available to them.

Hmm. Do Onyx Amazons provide unholy priests? ISTR that they provide death mages, but I can't remember whether their priestesses are holy or unholy.
