LOL.. well I'll ask one (Orlanth has ten thousand names you know)

What determines how much each unit needs per turn in upkeep? Can you see this anywhere in the game?

also -

The game keeps track of the "home garrison" province of every unit.. any effect to this?

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">The upkeep is one tenth of the purchase cost. This is halved if the unit is sacred.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">I can't find it in the manual, so it may have changed, but upkeep was commonly said to be 1/15th of cost in Dominions 1. Thus - are you sure of this?

Also: Unholy units (like Ermor's unholy indy priests) get 1/2 upkeep too, though they are not listed as scared. Possibly a bug. But very important for gold-hungry Ermor.

Upkeep seems to be halved also for unholy priests of ermor, but I'm not certain of this.

Saber, are you a broad in real life? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

That's a perfect question for the Joonie thread! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif

English is such a wonderful language; it has multiple synonyms for virtually every word... though often the "sense" is quite different. Thus... I prefer not to disclose anything about myself Online (except that I'm brilliant, talented, and cute), but I think I can safely say that I don't think of myself as a "broad" without revealing my gender... and when you ask such questions in the future (say, at a bar with ambiguously dressed people) you might want to use the words "girl" or "woman" instead of "chick" or "broad" http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

But Cherry is most certainly female. Shaped. She's an android, of course... and I should probably mention that my avatar is actually named "Shiori", but I couldn't find any cute pictures of Cherry with cat ears=)

Does that explain everything?

Re: Joonie Questions Here

I thought he meant "broad" in a geometric term. I can certainly see a few of those who play this game and who round a wargame table quite broad. And balding!

I prefer to think of Cherry as an idea, ala Plato. She is the comprehensive muse of the forums; who likes to apply cutsy chinese vernacular.
