Finding playmates ?
 

Hi,

I was wondering where a new Dominions 2 (great game by the way) player like me could meet some nice beginners to play against ? Being used to services like UBI.com, Gamespy and even Battle.net I was simply hoping there were a few players out there who had either ICQ/AIM/MSN contacts or some URL to a site where players could post upcoming games ?

There's a once-per-day PBEM game starting in January at DominionsX that still has some open slots (under semi-blitz game idea). I don't have IRC but I could be willing to try a "blitz" network game sometime. I am relatively new and I think most of the games tend to have a good mix of beginners and more experienced Dommers; you probably won't win the whole thing right away, but it's definitely fun and you can catch some good breaks in Dom - I think I'm doing better than I expected. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
