Pangeia\'s big units?

I am fighting Pangeia with Arco. They have lots of big, tough, units. Well, actually, their special units are big and tough, their regular forces get chased off pretty quickly.

Right now I am hitting them with Mind Burn, which does nicely focus on the big guys once the riff raff are chased off. I am also building large stacks of heavy cav. My holy unit is capital only and too far away.

Any ideas on a good Arco strategy against Pangeia? The heavy cav works, but it is not terribly elegant or race specific.

Are you facing carrion woods Pangea, or regular one? Try to focus on elemental spells, Arcoscephale is adept at casting fire, frost and lightning battlefields spells, and Pangea has trouble rising the right ward against them.

If you want a solution which dont involve magic, gather elephants with high morale units, and let them trample those so called big units of Pangea. Minotaurs will die under the weight of your pachyderms. Consider etheralizing them, as minotaurs hit hard when they strike back.

Paralyze, soul slay, elephants.

Elephants, a perfect Christmas gift for them! I found the mammoths of Caleum hurt me more than they hurt others, so I have stayed away from the big guys. However, I will do the high morale trick and put them where they have a corridor to flee if morale does break.

Thanks, see you all after the holidays!

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Another fun thing is to count on them breaking. Put them on the flanks with an order to atack the rear. They will charge the rear, get in a few hits, then flee up thru the backside of the enemys main army.
