Empire types
 

Does the type of empire you choose have any effect on game play? Everything else seems to but I haven't noticed if this does.

I do not think it does. However, if it did, one would feel it would be in the political area, and how other empires react to your presence.

I beleive that the only things that effect the relationship to another empire when you first meet are your start col type and maybe your attitude, eg aggressive/ violent etc. compared to there types.
