Help! Mouse not displayed!
 

I successfully (?!) installed the demo for Dom 2 on my `old' machine (P3 550, Voodoo3 card)...

However, I can't see the mouse on the screen! It IS active, because if I move it around blindly I can activate all the menus, create a first god, start a first game, see the 2 maps that come with the demo...it just takes a long time to find the small buttons...

Any help/suggestion would be greatly appreciated! BTW, the mouse is a MS-intellimouse, but I'm inclined to blame the video card for this one...

I know, I know, it's time to upgrade...

Try pressing alt+return to windowify the game. With some luck you might see the mouse then.

Chance the desktop color depth to 32bit, if it isn't set to that already.

Have a look at the drivers options .. maybe there are advanced options like "hardware mouse overlay" etc., or try turing down hardware cceleration.

Thanks for the help! I now have a working mouse!

BTW, what did it for me was turning down the hardware acceleration (not one notch, but two...all the way down to `basic' acceleration only...)
