Some thoughts about Vanaheim
 

Here some thoughts about Vanaheim. What could change or be modding. Perhaps a new theme called 'Alfheim' where you can get fairies, pixies, elves. Or change the whole Vanaheim for a start, calling it Asgaard.
Where more special heroes if you are lucky enough would join you.

Here is some new heroes/leaders that would be cool:

Loki(god of mischief,tricks and fire):
abilities: 3 fire, 2 death/or 2 astral?. Hide. Personal luck. An ability to randomize the order/turmoil and luck/unluck in the provins he is staying in. Plus Events will happen often in that provins.(until he leaves)

Tor(god of lightning, earth and god of the commoner)
Abilities: 2 earth, Lightning strike with mjolnir(melee and range), double damage against trolls, +25 % dam against all other large creatures. Fear. Supply 5 units.
Others: Riding chariot with 2 goats, flying.

Brage(god of lyrics and songs)
Abilities: 3 divine, 2 astral, 1 random. Morale, blessed. Supply 10 units.

Freya(god of spring, fertility and love)
Abilities: 3 divine, 2 nature, 2 water, Morale. Automatically brings faith in the provins she stays in. Provins gets +1 growth(until she leaves).

Asgaard, not Vanaheim.

Exactly... but something very different. As far as I know, Vanaheim was there when the "Asir" took over, and it will still be there when Ragnarök is over, the new gods slain and .. ****, what was his name, that 'lle bit dumb good that was slain by Loki is back. Or am I mixing up something, again?

However, a totally new nation, but shurely not a "theme" of Vanaheim.

Don't know if this matters that much for modding purposes. Guess you'll have to do the same tedious work of unit design, no matter what.

I had that in mind to build up a new instead of modify the Vanaheim. His name is/was Balder son of Odin.

As new themes it could be: Gimle, Alfheim and perhaps a theme build on Ydraggssil.

Vanaheim? How about call it Anaheim and include Ram units, Peter Pan, Mickey Mouse, and Surfers? (California pun - sorry).
