Another review for Dom2....strange, cause the reviewer seems to praise Dom2 througout most of the review, but ends up with a bad rating....

I believe it might be because they review alot of console games. If you review alot of console games you start getting into the 'whose graphics and sound are best' mindset because for the most part the content is watered down.

Why does it give it a 1 star/3.5 star rating? I'm not familar with that site...

And yes that was an odd review...for the most part it was positive with only the graphics and the learning curve being his problems.

I agree that it seems to be mostly a console-games site. So graphics and learning curve would be important. We need to find a strategy gamers magazine and ask them why they havent reviewed Dominions yet. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Its usually not even worth the time reading those game reviews. For example take a look at the freaks who do game reviews from X-Play on techTV... where 90% of the reviews are nothing but console games.(usually skateboard games or some wacky japanese games)
The guy(adam) on the show has even admitted to hate RPG's. Anyhow this is just one example as to why you can't really trust the reviews from them. I usually check the polls for what the general public thinks of the game. If 80% of the general public really likes the game then I check-out the demo.
