World map question

Just a couple of things (questions)

1. The color of the oceans are too bright or something...cannot even see the different province borders....so, how do i go about changing the color to a different color for the oceans?

2. I am thinking this map is a wrap-around map, am i right? If so, how do you take away the wrap around effect? Or, has someone else already done that?

Thanks

Chris

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Bring up the .TGA n any paint program that supports that format. Or convert in and out of any format your paint program does support. Edit and save. Im afraid thats the only way.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">For this you edit the .map file. There is a command for #wraparound but apparently that only controls whether or not the program will be willing to scroll the map wrapped. It doesnt change being able to move past the boarders. For that you would have to search and destroy the appropriate neighbor commands. Not so easy. Sorry.

You COULD try pulling the TGA into the MapEditor and turning off the wrap button, then having it re-figure all the neighbors, and resave to a different .map file to use. That would work except that I havent gotten the automatic neighbor thing to work very well.
