Nethack Mode
 

Anyone ever manage to find "Nethack Mode" in this game? No, it's not a secret gameplay mode where you can play Nethack inside of Dominions... it's when the graphics corrupt when you alt-tab and some of the unit graphics get replaced with text characters, so your Mictlan High Priest might be represented by the letter A with a circle over it... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

Happens to me everytime I alt tab out and it 'fails' to alt tab back in the first time, not sure what causes it exactally.

Dunno about that, but I do remember staying up far too late to be healthy and running a Harab Tourist down to Gehenna... except the Heat +3 Dominion there pretty much wiped him out. +3 Gauntlets of Power AND a midget masher... nuff said.

I had that alot but so far Ive been able to always avoid it if I remember to right-click the item on my status bar and then choose "restore" instead of just left-clicking it to get it back

Also Ive gotten in the babit of playing in a window which seems to have alot of advantages. Hitting Alt-Enter and then using the box icon in the upper right to enlarge it works well (the enlarging takes abit). That way I can access other things on the system bar to make it seem like Im still paying attention to work. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
