two question ^^"
1. is there any equipment gain the "twist fate" to the owner?
2. my flying dwarven legion(prot.30 smith) suddenly attacked by a barbarian horde on their way to the frontline, and all four slained by a barb chief.... how did he do that?! confusing... |
Re: two question ^^"
1. Nope. Spell and Astral 9 blessing is the only way.
2. Strength beats Protection, Attack beats Defence. Dice are openended. A Barbarian Chief is strong enough to be able to damage Protection 30 with a little luck. Your smiths don't have much HP so he doesn't need to beat the Protection by much. |
Re: two question ^^"
If your god starts with astral 9 then twist of fate and a ton of magic resist is granted as part of the blessing spell. If you give your assassin the "shroud" {its called something like that)then he will have all blessed effects all the time. With careful consideration you could really boost an assassin. Adding fire to his weapon attacks, speed, protection against missiles, pluses to his attack/defense/armor. Not to mention what else can be pilled on with things like luck charms and skull amulets.

Re: two question ^^"
The exact item is "the shroud of the battle saint" I belive it is an early con level item on the astral sphere.
9 Astral is quite costy if you only want twist fate on an assasin http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif |
