stupid question about "affects entire battlefield" spells
 

I see many spells listed which affect the entire battlefield, such as bone grinding and wrathful skies. Do these affect friendly units as well?

(I have only seen one spell which explicitly lists this warning: shimmering fields)

In a word: "yes". Beware, if the effect can also hurt you. Things like fire, lightning, etc. can be bad. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif

The idea is to be immune (all your troops) and then use the spell to slaughter everyone else. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif
