2 question: Divine Pretender
I suppose the answer to both is gamebalance over realism but:
As our pretender God is granting power to his priest why : 1- Is him/her/it ( http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif ) unable to cast divine spell ? 2- Isn't a blessed unit ? |

So, I guess that you decided to delegate that task http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon6.gif |
Re: 2 question: Divine Pretender
Realism and religious spell mechanics... can be explained by any number of concepts. See real-world theology.
1. Perhaps religious spells are powered by faith - faith of someone else in the god, rather than self-faith. 2. The god doesn't need to bless himself. He already gets powers from his magic scales through Indirect Magic (see manual page 27) and by casting spells himself. PvK [ January 26, 2004, 20:51: Message edited by: PvK ] |
