Haven't you ever accidentally clicked on the wrong unit's orders and had to reset them all manually, going through literally a dozen screens (cast, fireball, cast, fireball, cast, fireball, cast, fireball, cast, reinvigoration, fire, closest - see, it IS possible! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif ) to reset them? Don't you just WISH there was a "cancel" button that would let you return the unit's orders to its previous settings? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif

I know there's the saved orders, but that only works for up to 10 sets of orders, which isn't many, considering you have to split them between commanders and regular units...

Which gives me another idea - have the saved orders for commanders be stored in a different list than the ones for regular units - after all, you can't use one on the other anyway! This would allow for 10 saved orders for commanders and 10 for units, instead of 10 total. (Oh, and you COULD even make it 20 each if you allowed the shift key to modify the numbers, so Control-Shift-1 is a different order than Control-1 http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif )
