Sabbath slave and Communion Master?

Can a 1-blood mage cast sabbath slave together with a 1-astral mage casting communion slave and participate in a communion with a communion master / a sabbath master? That is, can blood and communion be mixed, either on the slave level or on the slave/master level or on both?

Nope. Blood and Astral does not mix. It can create a somewhat odd effect if you happen to have mages with points in both fields.

They don't mix? I've never tried but I thought the descriptions said they did, or I heard it elsewhere.

IIRC Johan O posted somewhere that a mage cant benefit from both Communion and Sabbath.
