Renaming Commanders

Anyone figure out how it works yet?

Started a new game with "Rename Commanders ENABLED", but for the life of me can't figure out how.

Select the commander and hit 'r'

For those as unwise as myself:

With the commander selected and right-clicked (e.g. you are observing her / his gem inventory or inspecting her items), activate the "r" button.
