It sounds like 2.08 was rushed and has a lot of new bugs!!!!!! So should I wait for 2.09?????

I am. Between the broken Jotuns and the AI combat bug, I see no real reason to upgrade since I play exclusively single player.

If by the "AI combat bug" you mean the problem Norfleet reported, I believe it's yet to be experienced by anyone else.

The Jotun Utgard bug just renders that one theme unusable.

On the positive side, a very significant bug affecting game balance (dual casting of individual-targeting spells, notably Paralyze) has been fixed.

For that alone, I'd say the upgrade is worth doing.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Add to that commander renaming, the jump in viability for Mictlan, the new theme for Arcos, and the various other bug fixes...all of that is too much to resist. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif I just got my sold copy of the game Last night, and immediately upgraded to 2.08.
