CGW letter to editor
I just received the April '04 issue of Computer Gaming World (not to be confused with Computer Games magazine). In it, on page 21, is a letter to the editors by Eric Schwartz, which they titled "Bruce Geryk -- Satan?". The letter reads as follows:
"Having introduced me to the crack-laced, chocolate barbecue potato chip cuisine that is Dominions II: The Ascension Wars, I hold you completely responsible for any ill effect on my graduate work this year. I've slept four hours in the Last two days because of this game. Bruce Geryk, may you burn in hell." Heh, another raving convert! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/shock.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif [ February 24, 2004, 08:09: Message edited by: Arryn ] |

Re: CGW letter to editor
Heehee. I love the barbecue potatoe chip comparison. "Bet you cant try just one (nation)"
WARNING: this game is NOT suitable for students, interns, apprentices, or anyone else who is expected to pass tests on a regular basis. Do not think about Dominions strategys while operating heavy machinery. Before getting into this game you should take steps to insure that someone checks on you at least every 3 days. Some side affects include but are not limited to dehydration, malnutrition, and in some rare cases exploded bladders. If you find your game Lasting more than 36 hours straight then see your doctor (but do NOT show him the game!). [ February 24, 2004, 17:57: Message edited by: Gandalf Parker ] |
