Once an AI Nation has declared War on a human Player (often early and seemingly from out of the blue*) allow the Player to see home Province ownership of that AI.

Softens that "What the Hell?" feeling and makes sense. No big deal. Just a fun little detail.

*I think this is an artifact of the AI's necessary advantage of having knowledge of Province ownership

Hmmm Im not sure on that. I tend to think the AI announces war based on things like scouts finding you, or you getting "famous" (leading in number of provinces, forts, or dominion). It doesnt always mean that they are nearby.

Plus, some nations have advantages in being able to find enemy capitals faster than others. (Arcos, Vanheim, Pangaea, Caelum). I wouldnt want to degrade that small benefit
