graphic artists "the Dominions Cartoon"

I was watching saturday morning catroons. One of the ones completely built around selling a game. Like the transformable robots or the card dueling game.

Then Im back in here reading some of the excellent AAR journals and thinking "hey these would make a better cartoon than those others".

Anyway just another brain-fart of mine that I thought Id post.

Well, I actually had a quasi similar idea. Remember Space Empires: Starfury? What if they made a Diablo clone, but it took place in a randomized Dominions setting? Eh? It would simulate being a warrior in a dominions game, possibly working your way up from the equivalent of a normal commander to a hero to a prophet? You would be given missions depending on what you were http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif It would use actual dominions units, and dominions like battles, but focusing on the tactical. You might even get to do stuff like guard a mage searching for magic sites, put down unrest, lead a desperate attack on an enemy province. And, similar to what they did with Space Empires, the no doubt superior tactical graphics for the command/diablo clone could be hijacked for Dom 3 http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif .... heh, sorry. Yeah, a cartoon would be cool too.

Can you be horribly maimed and get numerous afflictions after being cursed? That's an important part of the Dominions II experience. It wouldn't be right without it, so you could continue with your blind, one-armed, limping character with a chest wound.
