Now how do i get it to illwinter? Compressed it's 20MB so email isn't really an option.

Posting an URL will often do it. Sending it to info@ over at the illwinter.com site will also take care of it if they like it.
Doing both, sending an email with an URL address of where they can pick up the file is actually the internet-friendliest method of all. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

I can host it, but I don't have a publically-accessible ftp server for you to upload it to me. And it might take me a bit of time to figure out how to grant you specific access rights to the domain I'm borrowing. I'll look into it. <font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Comment: your water provinces are too large. You should cut them down to 2/3 or 1/2 their present size, IMO.

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">The map is more or less a copy of the existing world map. So the ammount of provinces (and water provinces) is the same give or take one. Cutting them would produce new provinces and that would screw up the .map file and i'm not going to do that anytime soon.

Btw how does the random map generator figure out the neighbouring provinces? Maybe i could utilize that algorithm.

Did a google search for free hosting, found one with 60MB unlimited bandwith, signed up, created virtual server, started upload manager....the maximum size per file is 200kB http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

But then I dont use ISPs anymore so things might have changed
