Why did my mages not attack?
I scripted shamans:
Communion Slave, Body Ethereal, Hold, Hold, Hold, Attack Rear. Throughout the whole battle, the shamans stood there, didn't even cast spells or attack. Is it just me or does being a slave mean you don't get to do a single thing? [ March 07, 2004, 08:48: Message edited by: Argitoth ] |

Yes I think so. It seems that after a communion master has cast a spell the communion slaves wont do anything that turn. Which is probably a good thing since the slaves can die from fatigue even without spending any themself.

Re: Why did my mages not attack?
well the only solution is to make all communion masters retreat.

Errh... I've given communion slaves missile weapons and set them to fire archers. Works great. Perhaps it's a range thing and communion slaves can't walk outside of set radious from the masters?

I had 4 mages casting relief every round. Every unit on my side had 0 fatigue for almost the whole battle. But anyway, the solution is to tell all the masters to retreat and it has worked. |
