Small question on Awe
Quoting Zen from my thread searches, I got this information on Awe so far:
The effect of Awe in combat is: 10 + awe + 2D6(oe) vs MRL +2D6(oe) When an Awe check succeeds, it doesn't allow the opposing unit to attack thus nulling any effect it might have. My question: Does this mean that the Awe value will cause the unit which failed the Awe check to lose its action for that turn, or simply fail to be able to attack that one Awesome unit (e.g. and hence attack a different unit), or what? How far can this range extend? (I.e.: Will a ranged unit with a short bow be able to target an Awesome unit, but not if it gets really close?) Thank you. |
Re: Small question on Awe
Awe works only in melee. All attacks that turn are lost (unless you are quick and hav another set of attacks in the same turn).
