Help exchanging gems!
 

I started a new game and in the lab my pretender is not an option to take any gems?

How do I give them to him. He is in the province.

This sounds strange. Here is some guesswork on my part:

- You want to take gems you dont have yet
- There are more than 2 mages in that province, and your pretender is 3rd (or 10th) on the list, and doesnt show up on the "Give Gem" screen: you have to click on the top row to get him/her there.
- A fire has destroyed your lab when you were out slaughtering peasants; check your Messages

btw, is there a quick key or a more expedient method that I can use to get my numberous mages to pass off those astral gems they are collecting via clams to the lab, instead of switching them in the give gem screen and one click/per gem clicking away...

I know Z works for blood slaves, but I don't think there is one for gems... Manually selecting each mage and dump the gems into the lab for ~30 mages (only because I got too tired doing the micromangement... otherwise I'd have more) is very time-consuming...

F7 and click on pool for the gem type.
