Renaming

I recently DLed 2.08, and it says you can rename commanders (unless the option is disable; also, it doesn't work on pretenders, heros, nor something else {I can't remember what it was}). However, I can't figure out exactly how to rename my commanders. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif How can I rename them? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif

P.S. I enabled the option.

Re: Renaming

From the unit selection right click (The Unit Information Screen) then hit "r" and you will be able to rename your commanders.

Right-click on commander to bring up the usual single-commander information screen, then hit 'r'.

Thank you, Zen and Taqwus (and anyone else who replies with an answer). Now, I can have so much more fun with my games (not that they're not fun, it just gets annoying to see two of the same name; and it's fun to name commanders after people you know http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif ). Again, thank you. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Yeah, I do that. I name units after people from my site, in a manner that befits their schtick, so I can always remember what that commander was supposed to be doing.

Another fun thing I do is to name all of my SCs of a specific identical type the exact same thing, so the enemy has no idea how many of them I actually have. Walk softly, and don't let them know what kind of stick you have behind you. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
