How do I rename my commanders?? I made it an option when I began the game but cannot do it?

Also how do I make my priests bless some sacred units? I cannot do it. Is it a spell?

If you chosen Rename as an option you can press R when you opened the units statistics screen. Just selecting the commander on the map is not enough.

Blessing is indeed a spell. Your priests should cast it automaticly on sacred units when the battle starts.

The bless effects are based on the pretender's magic levels correct?

If so then does the priest level even matter?

Hello there!
These are some good questions which are handled in depth in some other good Posts here. Check out the "sticky" thread by Saber Cherry, for instance.

Some short answers here:
- Yes, bless effects are based on Pretenders magic paths. See stickied thread near top of this forum for details.
- A priest of level 2 or higher (basically any priest) can cast "blessing". A level 4 priest can bless all sacred units on the whole battlefield at once, but the effects will be the same as they would have been had a level 2 priest (who cannot bless the whole field at once) blessed individual squads one by one.
