It's really funny I think. I was playing Mictlan in a 6 player game. I used the FoB 10B pretender.
My prophet whas in short of slaves, so I sent in the arena my official sacrificer HightPriest of the Sun from the Capital. It had no items. (I removed the Jade Knife.) I gave him a cartload of blood slaves, and let him go to arena.
I was surprised when he got in the final round. But without slaves. I was sure that it's a lost game. I was batteling against Ulm's prophet. But then it was a draw. It was the best arena game I fought. http://webchat.rpg.huhttp://forum.sh...ivocimbora.gif

If he got into earlier rounds WITH slaves, they undoubtedly contributed to his victories by serving as meatshields.
