What are peoples preferences for setting up MP games.

I like the idea of quick host but ideally you want that linked into a generate turns every 24 hours at least. As I understand it the only way to combine is generate at a set time, which if linked in with quick host could result in a turn just be genned before its slot and then genning again http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

I see on the web server there is an option to do quick host and generate every x hours. Would this the combination I should go for if I want to gen a turn at least every 24 hours but less if people get there turns in.

Any other considerations for MP games.

As far as I could tell, we had a

"elapsed time since Last hosted turn > 48 hours=forcehost, otherwise quickhost"

set up in Pillin's MP game, before his crashing HD obliterated the fatherland file.

You might ask him what settings he used, as it seemed to work very well.
