Adjustable max global effects?
 
Howdy! Now, I know the dev's seem to already have a heck of a lot on their hands with this game, with all the stuff I see people requesting already. However, being the kind soul I am, I thought I would throw this out there anyways.

Would it be possible to get an option in the game creation screen that lets you adjust the maximum amount of global spells active at once? Maybe 3/5/7/9 as the options, or even 5/10/15 http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif . I dont know about everyone else, but I would certainly enjoy such a setting. My somewhat limited (er, nonexistant) programming experience tells me this wouldnt be too hard of an adjustment to make, either. Please drop an anvil on me if this has been requested already.

I'm not sure why there should be a cap at all. Is there a logical reason for this?

For MP, I am sure it is nice.. I still think it would be a nice option, however. At least having an on/off switch for the cap would be great. I made this thread after my 166-blood slave spell got bumped by someone (those R'yleh bastards, I think) casting Eyes of God, so I was a little miffed http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

This was in Dom 1, btw. But I doubt any more patches are forthcoming for that game, and my copy of Dom2 is on it's way, so I was hopeful for the next patch.. Guess I'm really the only one that this bothers, though.
