<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Anyone know why trolls/sea trolls/Sea Kings have upkeep, when so many other (seemingly equally or more powerful) summons don't? 45 W suddenly seems like a whole lot for a Sea King's Court, when it's going to cost you 55 upkeep!

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">Apparently because they have a gold cost, as the units can be recruited normally from sites or certain provinces: As a result, they're assumed to have upkeep because there's a gold cost associated with them.

Or the money may be weregild for the children the trolls are supposed to be fed (according to the spell description).

<font size="2" face="sans-serif, arial, verdana">I guess that's one way of making sure you get the minerals you need in your diet. Usually I'm recommending something like that for iron, though...
