Game over after 2 turns??

For some reason I get the message that the game is "over" after 2 turns. I have to hit "quit" then. This happened on the demo I downloaded also.

Just loaded full copy tonight. Does anyone have suggestions?

If you did not set any other nations to AI control, you will win by default, as you will be the only surviving nation. On Turn 2, it'll declare your victory, and after turn 2, the game is over.
