Two questions
1) I just found a site that gives bonus: blood magic 40. (called Chaining if I remember right). I couldn't find an explanation for this and the only site file I could find was .xls which I can't use, so can someone explain how the bonus works, please (and for that matter, I seem to remember enchantment bonus earlier too).
My guess is that it would mean blood magic there uses 40% fewer slaves in rituals? And perhaps in combat also? And then enchantment one would be reduced % gem use for spells of that school, but enough of my guessing, it's pointless. 2) Since I have had minor problems telling some of the flags apart I downloaded a flag mod in the hopes it would be more distinct, by Unwise & someone (UnV.zip). Could someone tell me which file goes where as just unzipping it to the mod folder didn't seem to work, and there was no documentation with it for those of us who are "Mod Use Challenged" http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif Thanks! |
Re: Two questions
Have you ever thought about using the "search" function of this forum?
It's not that we are too lazy to give newbies some ..guidance.. , but answering the same questions again and again is somewhat tedious and boring, and clutters the forum with lots of more or less useless Posts. And there are some more unique threads which may get lost because they vanish to page 2 or 3 because of all those postings. installing mods: look here sites: look here |
Re: Two questions
Sorry, didn't think to search for mod help, but I did search for the sites figuring that had to be on here, just must have used the wrong words.
Thanks for linking me though! |

I don't know about MacOS, but I'd guess if M$ made the effort of providing the Windows program, they also probably did the same for MacOS. Don't know about Solaris, though, or whether OpenOffice works on Solaris... So, if your computer can run dom2, my guess is there's a free program that will let you view .xls files http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif |
Re: Two questions
Open Office is available on Windows, too.
But it's a chunky download for those of us who don't have Broadband. If you keep an eye open for a month or two there is generally a magazine with OpenOffice on the coverdisk, and it's well worth the investment. |
