How do we resume a network game???
 

Hi forum,

We are four guys who are having great fun playing Dom2 this evening, but the server just crashed and we don't know how to resume the game (tcp/ip). Please, please help so we can get the game started again.

Have the previous server (the one with the fatherland-file) start a new server.

Enter the game name you chose first time. The game is saved as a folder in the server's gamedirectory. Make sure that the name you enter is *exactly* the same.

Then, just resume your original positions, and you can continue playing the turn the server crashed on.

Thank you. That was more or less what we figured out - the only problem was that the guy who played on the server machine tried to start the game through the "start existing game" procedure, which apparently corrupted the game -> game set to turn 1.
