Awesome Items?
 

Which Items give +Awe?

I can think of the Gleaming Shield and Armor of Virtue, are there any others?

Also, does anyone know how these stack with a unit that already has Awe?

Dunno about stacking, (seems likely) but the devs posted a note that suggested if a commander has enough

+Magical leadership items

The unit would acquire awe automatically.

Never seen it done, but I haven't tried either.

Shield of Gleaming Gold, Armor of Virtue, Solaris Items, Amon Hotep.

Crown of Overmight + Oal'Kan Scepter will give you Awe (+2) (Which is +3 Awe) then you could add in Armor of Virtue and a Shield of Gleaming Gold.

Magical Leadership? Interesting. I guess now I need to hunt down Magical leadership items too!

Are there any pretenders that start with unusualy magic leadership? A high astral level would help as well, so I guess some combination of the two would be best.

I'm just trying to see how bad Awe can get...

Oh wait, am I correct in understanding that it's not Magic Troop Leadership, but instead Magically gained Mundane Leadership?

That puts a different twist on things. So essentially, items that give +leadership also give +awe -- but only if you have already gained leadership magically somehow?

If you can gain magical as in Magicin Nature not Magic Troop Leadership. Magic Items that provide mundane leadership are what you are looking for.

I got up to Awe +18 with a Heroic Awe HoF and items, and it was pretty awesome, but anything Mindless still got to attack ;/ (I.E. Undead) if there was an item that had like a Soul Vortex Radius Undead Killing aura or something then it would be worth trying to get (as it's mostly these types who kill your super-awe unit)

Something I think would be interesting would be something like a Relic of Life that strikes out in holy fury at the undead and demons on the field. It might work like other auto-casting items but only has the Banishment spell available.
