Standard races

This has probably been asked before, sorry if it has.
In the quickstart game I have 16 original races to choose from. When I start a new game there are only the fisrt 8 original races available to choose from.
Any reason for that?
How would I add the other 8?

Well, I haven't really looked into it, but I bet you could start with one of the other 8, save your empire and reselect it later.

Might take a bit longer than grabbing them from wherever the game gets them during quickstart, but it'll work until someone else chimes in with an easier method.

You can the other 8 at the bottom of settings.txt.
